What does your fasting blood sugar levels tells you?
- The ideal blood sugar levels is less than 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L).
- When your fasting blood sugar levels are between 101 to 125 mg/dL (5.6 to 6.9 mmol/L), you are said to be prediabetic.
- When your blood glucose level is 126 mg/dL (7 mmol/L) or higher on two separate tests you will be diagnosed as having diabetes.
